THE BEACH HUT – TERMS & CONDITIONS

  1. Full payment is required to confirm the booking.  The beach hut hire will not be considered confirmed until payment has been received.  Once payment has been received this confirms  your acceptance of our Terms & Conditions.
  2. We require at least 24 hours notice for cancellation and a full refund will be given up to 2 days prior to the arrival date.  For cancellations less than 2 days prior to arrival no refund will be given. We reserve the right ourselves to cancel any booking, after giving notice to you, in the event that we are unable to let the hut for reasons beyond our reasonable control or in circumstances such that we believe the accommodation is unsuitable.  In these circumstances a full refund will be given.
  3. Please appreciate that the weather is beyond our control so we cannot promise alternative dates in the event of poor weather.
  4. The most up to date prices for beach hut hire are shown on the website.  Any prices shown are subject to regular review and may change.
  5. We take great care and pride in looking after and cleaning Upper Deck before any rental and so would be most grateful if you could leave the hut as originally found. When leaving please wash up any crockery, utensils etc and put these back.  We provide all cleaning products for this purpose, except for tea towels.  All litter and food must be removed from the beach hut and surrounding area and disposed of correctly.  We provide bin bags for this purpose.  We want all our guests to enjoy Upper Deck and their time on the beach, so your co-operation in ensuring the hut is left as originally found is much appreciated.  If the beach hut is left in an unreasonable condition we reserve the right to refuse future bookings.
  6. Please sweep out any excess sand from the beach hut before leaving.  We ask that you kindly rinse all buckets, spades etc in the sea and remove as much sand as you can before placing them back in the storage tub in the beach hut. Please also fold away chairs and tables and stow these away safely.
  7. Please ensure that the gas for the stove is turned off and that all locks are secured and that the key lock combination code is scrambled upon departure.
  8. We would respectfully ask that behaviour of our guests is in keeping with the family environment and should not be excessive, noisy or disruptive.  We reserve the right to ask you to leave if any member of the party is displaying unreasonable behaviour, causing nuisance to other people or damage to the hut.
  9. The beach huts are all in quite close proximity so we would kindly ask that you keep to the boundaries of Upper Deck and try not to encroach on our neighbours.  We would also respectfully ask that if there are any small children in your party that they are supervised at all times to adhere to these guidelines, especially if the beach is busy.
  10. Please tell us about any damage or breakages as soon as possible so that we can rectify the situation.  We appreciate that small accidents do happen but for any larger items or damage to the hut we reserve the right to charge for the necessary repairs and/or replacement of items.  We also reserve the right to charge for any extra cleaning.
  11. No smoking or candles are permitted in the hut and no fires or barbeques are allowed on the beach.  Please take care when using the gas stove, which should only be used inside the hut.
  12. No liability is accepted for any loss, damage, sickness or injury however caused which may be sustained during your time at Upper Deck, to the guest or any member of the party, or invited persons, or any car or its contents, or any possession of the guest or any member of the party.
  13. There is a maximum number of six people, including babies and children, allowed to use the hut at any time.  These numbers must not be exceeded. We reserve the right to terminate your booking if the number of persons occupying the hut exceeds the maximum stated and refuse any future bookings made.
  14. Please do not play any loud music.
  15. Gazebos are not allowed.
  16. Arrival time is from 4.00pm and departure time is 10.00am, however please note that sleeping in the beach hut is not permitted.   17. Descriptions – whilst every effort is made to ensure the accuracy of the property details on the website, all statements are made in good faith and are for guidance only.
