Brancaster Beach
Brancaster Beach is closest to the house. There is a little kiosk offering refreshments and ice creams. Remember to take change for the car park.
Turn left when you get onto the beach and walk along until you reach the creek, if you head up the creek you will often be able to sit and watch the seals swimming.

Holkham Beach
Holkham is perhaps the most spectacular beach, though not ideal with children as the tide is often far out. If you’re a film buff you might recognise it as being where the last scene from Shakespeare in Love was filmed. It’s dramatic size offers a wonderful place to walk and blow away the cobwebs, followed by a stiff drink at The Victoria!

Wells-next-the-Sea
Wells-next-the-Sea is a wonderful beach and offers lots to do both during the winter and summer months. It’s a lovely place to have a picnic for the day, and it helps that there is a toilet block in the pine woods. We would recommend heading away from the crowds towards the Holkham end of the beach huts. These can also be rented but book well in advance for the summer months.

Closer to home, but perhaps ambitious with little ones as the car parking is a walk away from the beaches, are the following:
Holme Beach
Holme beach is one of those Norfolk beaches that very few people know about.

Hunstanton Beach
Hunstanton Beach is also very close. Park at the Le Strange Arms car park next to the hotel as access is directly onto the beach and there is also a small café and toilet block.
